AWAC began as "Afghanistan Without a Clue" in August 2006 to chronicle my adventures on a one-year tour in Afghanistan. It also stands for "Atheist With A Calling," since I'm now a lay minister for the Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma, TN. And yes, I'm an atheist. Rather than create a seperate blog, the two will remain united as one. I'll post when the urge strikes, but mainly I keep the blog running as a resource for others going to Afghanistan or wondering about Unitarian Universalism. We often foster dogs until they are ready for adoption, so you'll see many dog photos. If you are new to AWAC, the best thing is to start from the beginning.
