AWAC began as "Afghanistan Without a Clue" in August 2006 to chronicle my adventures on a one-year tour in Afghanistan. It also stands for "Agnostic With A Calling," since I'm now a lay minister for the Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma, TN and began attending Vanderbilt Divinity School in Aug 2009. And yes, I'm agnostic. Rather than create a seperate blog, the two will remain united as one. I'll I'll try to post weekly, in an effort to give readers an idea of what life is like at divinity school, while still working for the church and making time for my family. We often foster dogs until they are ready for adoption, so you'll see many dog photos. If you are new to AWAC, the best thing is to start from the beginning. Just wander over to the archives (the links are down there to the left) and enjoy!
